Our priorities speak volumes about us, both individually and collectively.
We talk a good game. We come up with catchy jingoistic phrases to mesmerize, to wow and to give a warm fuzzy feeling that something is being done – end of discussion.
Time marches on. So does the score: the sum of our accomplishments minus what slipped through the cracks. History will be the final judge and there is no automatic booth review.
